Fiscal Responsibility

With a growing and more balanced tax base, I am committed to expanding town services within our means and keeping general fund property taxes level.

I will not support municipal subsidies with Holly Springs taxpayer dollars for affordable housing projects. Instead I’ll seek partnerships with private developers.

As a finance professional, I will continue to leverage my background and experience to bring clarity and transparency to complicated financial matters.

Infrastructure

I raised and succeeded at implementing a 5 year rolling schedule for all of our major growth plans including: Comprehensive Growth and Community Character, Comprehensive Transportation Plan, and Parks and Greenways master plan. These plans will dictate our growth strategy and be updated on a regular basis to reflect the current make up and vision of our town.

After my re-election I will quickly get to work on prioritizing the remaining $18M of Transportation Bond money approved by voters in 2018. This funding should be strategically used to improve our transportation network and provide equitable traffic solutions.

Responsible Growth

I have consistently asked developers tough questions about their projects and will keep working to ensure that current residents have a benefit from development, not detriment.

I will relentlessly advocate for enhanced connectivity through completed sidewalk extensions between neighborhoods and additional greenway connections linking older areas to new projects.

I will only support high density multi-family projects that include a mixed-use component and continue to fight for the suburban neighborhood style and lot sizes that made Holly Springs attractive.

Responsible Growth to me is:
- The Town needs more true mixed use and commercial development.
- Higher density residential development should only be considered when part of a mixed use project.
-Creation of larger minimum lot sizes
-Diverse housing stock and options for current and future residents

Quality of Life

Sustain my push for equal, diverse, and inclusive amenities throughout our town and available to all our residents e.g. changing tables in restrooms,
handicap accessible swings, park locations within a safe 10 minute walk from all neighborhoods, and affordable housing partnerships with private developers to increase housing diversity and stock for lower income workers and families.

Our residents deserve the highest quality emergency services. As a former firefighter, I will continue to
ensure our public safety departments are adequately funded and structured to best serve our residents.

Leadership

Dedicated and passionate voice to represent YOU.

Proven track record of soliciting and acting on resident input and building quality relationships with town stakeholders.

I will continue to lead with these tenets-
transparency, accountability, accessibility, responsive, direct, prepared, and well-articulated.

I believe in ROI "Relationships Over Issues"
